PITTSBURGH RIDE FOR KIDSŪ RAISES $64,000
On a spectacular Sunday morning, 300 motorcyclists and PBTF supporters raised more than $64,000 for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation at the Pittsburgh Ride for KidsŪ.

When they reached their destination on the campus of Slippery Rock University, they participated in a special Celebration of Life program featuring several brain tumor patients, including Zachary, 2, and Eliot, 7.
"Zach was 4 months old when he was diagnosed and now he's almost 3," said his dad. "All this has been possible due to the help and generosity of everyone here."
The crowd also heard from Dr. Glenn Gobbel, professor of neurological surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
The total raised at the Pittsburgh ride was $64,048. Top individual fundraiser honors went to Jim and Wendy Kinest, who raised $5,625. The top club, GWRRA PA Chapter E, brought in $13,845, and the customers of N&R Trike Shop of Belle Vernon, Penn., made it the top motorcycle business by raising $16,629.
Keith Eddy Sr. of Greenville, Penn., won the grand prize, a brand-new Honda motorcycle.
Special thanks went to Pittsburgh's task force leaders, Laura Ebbert, Steve Kovac, Linda Eaves and Gordon Snyder, along with their hardworking volunteer task force and day-of-event volunteers, for organizing a terrific event for the kids.
